The Sailfish Cup tournament is produced by Executive Adventures and held annually at the Miami Beach Marina located in the heart of South Beach. The catch and release sailfish tournament is scheduled for November 10-12, in conjunction with the final race of the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season at the Miami-Homestead Speedway.
Teams of 6 anglers compete over the course of two days for the high stakes prize money and the honor of inscribing their name on the official Sailfish Cup. The Sailfish Cup debuted as richest tournament in Miami with a cash payout of over $500,000 in 2007. VIP parties each evening feature top shelf liquor and gourmet cuisine. The Sailfish Cup Awards Gala hosted by NASCAR President Mike Helton is complete with Live and Silent Auctions to benefit the NASCAR Foundation and Speedatrics at Homestead Hospital.
