Offshore Swivel Knot

Making an Offshore Swivel Knot is relatively easy and useful. If you have ever wanted to go fishing but never knew how to attach the swivel to your line, now is your chance to learn. Here is what you need and how to make an Offshore Swivel Knot.

How to make the Offshore Swivel Knot:

Step 1:

Simply take your fishing line and fold it over so you have a large loop. Thread the end loop through the very small metal loop at the end of the swivel.

Step 2:
Then pull about five six inches of line and lay the loop on top of the double layer of fishing line. So the line will come from the right the swivel will be on the left and then you will double back your line to the right about five or six inches and hold the loop and double line.

Step 3:
Then you will take the swivel and swing inside the loop to the right so it goes through the center of both the loop line and double line.

Step 4:
Now you are going swing the swivel like this three to six times. What results are a twisty line on both sides of the loop. The twisty should go until you meet the fishing line that is side by side on the right-hand side.

Step 5:
The next step is to push the twisted line which slides on the line towards the swivel and there you will have your knot.
