Kiwi Camp Dry Heavy Duty Water RepellentThe ION G2 is developed with advanced ION Ice Auger technology. It is faster and 29% lighter than its competitors. Powered by a 6Ah Gen 2 battery, it works well in the cold and has a long battery life.

Pros

  • Lightweight
  • Durability
  • More speed
  • More power

Cons

  • Difficult to use initially

Our Take

I purchased the ION G2 Ice drill a few weeks ago, and I must say it is the best auger ever made. It works great in winter. I have drilled at least 20 holes with it in a single charge. I live in a place where the ice is very thick, so I used to buy those finicky gas augers, but not anymore. They used to leave the gas odor in my hands and gloves.

The ION ice auger is right for me and the environment. I charge it fully and take it outside many times. It has a long battery life and is lightweight, so I carry it easily. It cuts clean holes and works fast, and this is another reason why I like it so much.

I ordered the auger, and it was delivered quickly. The directions to setup it was simple, and I managed it efficiently. I brought it out on the ice after some time, and it worked well. It cut all the holes as I expected. It is ideal for re-drilling vents with its innovative centering ring.
Its blade lasts longer and holds its edge in solid ice.

With its auto prime fuel system, there's no need to top the engine before startup. One just needs to flip its switch ON to start drilling. The best part is that it has a clean-burning engine and requires low maintenance. I recommend others to try it and have a great experience.

I used the land works auger in rocky and summer-dried soil. It doesn't remove big and heavy rocks, but most of the smaller ones come out without any problem. It is lightweight so that I can handle it with ease. I can drill down 30 inches in 30 seconds.

I repaired my adorable fence that was taken out due to a storm. This machine helped me to fix it. Also, the battery life is long, and it works for hours without getting down. It has got torque to go straight down and pull out any rocks in the way. I believe it is worth every penny I paid for it.

Arksen 1200W Electric Post Hole Digger

Kiwi Camp Dry Heavy Duty Water RepellentThe digger is perfect for installing fence posts, decks, and planting trees. Its manual startup provides reliability and works fast.

Pros

  • Plenty of power
  • Easy to use
  • Value for money

Cons

  • Its handle is a bit dangerous
  • Can be complicated to use

Our Take

I needed a manual post hole digger for small works. I didn't want a gas-powered auger because they create hassle of clogged-fuel lines. They require a mixed file and spread gas everywhere. I didn't want that much of a hassle, so I brought this.

When I started using it, I was digging it and kept pulling back to keep the dirt clear of the hole. So I managed to dislodge it quickly when I got stuck. So don't drill it down accurately and then pull it out. When you are digging, just pull it back periodically.

8

Hiltex Electric Earth Auger

Kiwi Camp Dry Heavy Duty Water RepellentThe auger is developed with an ergonomic handle. Its rubberized grip help to use it comfortably by being non-slippery to reduce hand fatigue. Its powerhead includes a safety lock that prevents any triggering by mistake.

Pros

  • Powerful
  • Safety Lock
  • Easy and Comfortable Operation

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Can be complicated to use

Our Take

I found this post digger online when I was looking for one. After receiving it through fast delivery, I was quite excited to use it. It came well-packed, and it took me only 5 minutes to assemble it. It can dig a 30-inch deep hole for a 4X4 post in just 3 minutes.

However, it binds on rocks and in wet soil too. Sometimes it works slowly and is difficult to remove. But if I work slowly and lift it frequently, it works great. It doesn't stick at all if used in this way.
